Soroptimist Auction and Sacred Sparks Benefit

Church member Nancy Los is part of the international nonprofit organization called “Soroptimist.” The Soroptimist organization gives out grants, called “Live Your Dream,” to women who are struggling to finish college or get job training to support themselves and dependents. The local club, “Soroptimist Int’l of Music City Nashville,” will be holding a Quarter ($0.25) Auction in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, April 18, at 2:00 PM. Most of the money earned will go toward these grants or other projects/programs benefiting our community.

There is no admission cost to the auction—instead, guests will be asked to bring donations to benefit Sacred Sparks ministry, including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, Kleenex, ChapStick, baby wipes, or bottled water.

This auction is a casual and fun and NOT too expensive affair! Live bids are just 25 cents to one dollar and can give the bidder things such as a $25 gift card to Olive Garden, a gift basket suitable for Mother’s Day, and lots of other great items. There will also be more expensive items and gift cards available in an ongoing silent auction.
