Few things close the door faster in relationships than experiencing an attitude of judgment and assumptions. Perhaps this is why Jesus taught so directly against this among his followers. Sadly, too often the church is known more for a spirit of condemnation than a spirit of love. How can we faithfully seek to remove the tree trunks of judgment from our eyes so that we may faithfully help one another remove the "splinters" affecting us?
More and more it seems that belonging and participating in the local church is becoming optional. Many of us have been hurt by the church or perhaps simply felt that the church didn't have much to offer us. But Jesus calls the Church His bride, and commands those who follow Him to love his bride as he does. But how can we do that well? How can we engage in a closer, more faithful, life in community? Join us as we explore several practical ways to live in community together!
