The Bible and specifically the teachings of Jesus are very clear: life in community will mean experiencing hurts in community. How are we to respond when we are hurt and wounded by others, especially those we trusted and cared for? The way of response from the community of disciples is forgiveness. What exactly is forgiveness and what is it not? How can we find the power to forgive those who sin against us?
