Cost-Benefits Analysis
Is this worth it? Do you ever ask that question in life? Is this job worth it? Is this relationship worth the trouble its causing me? Is serving in the church worth the trouble? We are always doing cost-benefit analysis every day with each choice we make. When Jesus encounters people eager to follow him and receive all the good he has to offer, he reminds them (and us) following him is worth it! But it comes with a cost.
