I Love You and I Like You
Sometimes when it comes to our families or our church community its easy to talk about love. We love these people for so many reasons. But sometimes these relationships are hard, and though we “love” our families or church community if we are honest sometimes that love comes solely from a place of obligation. Its a “supposed to” kind of love. I love them because I’m “supposed to”. This passage in 1 Thessalonians challenges this sort of love, and reminds us that God and other don’t just “love” us, they like us too.
