Redefining Everything

After a buildup of eleven chapters when the climatic moment of the final plague is about to be unleashed, the story pauses as God takes time to give instructions on having a family meal together. This sacred meal becomes a tradition packed with meaning and significance, so much so that Jesus chooses this same Passover celebration to redefine the scale of all God is doing in the world.

From Series: "Exodus: Rediscovering God"

The events of the book of Exodus are probably the most quoted and referenced stories of the entire Bible. In fact, it might not be too much of a stretch to say that in order to truly understand Jesus, you need to know and understand the Book of Exodus. Beginning this week and stretching throughout the fall, we will be studying the book of Exodus on Sundays. Exodus is the story about rediscovering who God is, not just back then but for you and me today. Join us as we introduce the book of Exodus and rediscover God.
