As beautiful and delightful as life can be in its best moments, it can also be full of disappointments, pain, and bitterness. In those bitter seasons of life, the temptation may be to look back longingly at better days or to sit in the present pain to the point of getting stuck. What if the adversity is more than simply the difficulty of life? What if it is God testing us? How do we feel about a God who puts us to the test? Could these tests from God in fact be gifts to us?
