Selective Hearing
We live in a time and world all seeking to influence us by bombarding us with messages minute by minute. In this environment it is far too easy to only listen to the voices telling us what we want to hear. How do we go about sifting through these various voices to mine what is good and godly? Additionally, how can we recognize and avoid the temptation to only listen to the voices we agree with, and discern the voice of God?
