Advent Joy

When life’s circumstances seem to be falling apart around you, where do you turn to find joy in those seemingly joyless moments? Why is it that Christians sing hymns at funerals or that so many stories of joy are paired with moments of hurt? In the season of Advent as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus, we are reminded that our ultimate joy comes with the promise of new creation.

From Series: "Advent"

The Advent season describes the four week period leading up to the celebration of Christ’s birth at Christmas. Unlike stores that race to put up their Christmas decorations and products as fast as possible in the year, Christians deliberately seek to take our time before arriving at Christmas. It is a season of longing, not just for the celebration of Christmas, but for all the ways we long for God to enter in our lives with love, joy, peace, and hope. We invite you enter this season of anticipation with us at Brush Hill!
