Big Fences and Small Tables
It has been observed that, over the decades, Americans moved from spending time in their front yards and porches, to being people separated by privacy fences in their backyards. What if we also live behind spiritual privacy fences as well? While privacy protects us, it can keep us from the community God intends. Examining the book of James, we see we're called to a shared life—praying together, confessing sins, and serving one another—not to put up a spiritual privacy fence. Discover how tearing down these walls, built by past hurts or shame, is an act of faith that invites the power and presence of God into your life. God and his people are waiting on the other side; will you take a risk and invite them in?
